"All together against forgery"
“La journée contre la contrefaçon” in Lausanne is a day where forgery is discussed and where solutions are sought to fight this ongoing problem. We were asked to produce short videos that would then be shown in cinemas around Switzerland. Forgery is the idea of trying to reproduce something from a well known brand and then selling it, problem is, there is always a loss in quality and nothing is monitored correctly. So I descended to the cellular level and cell division. They try to make identical copies over and over to then play their role in the human body. What is interesting to notice, is that there is a slight loss of information every time they divide. This represented exactly what I wanted to say about forgery. I created dividing cells and made them lose colour progressively to translate the idea.
